The result is a Shiraz with plenty of character and structure, but a lighter touch - expressive without being overwhelming.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eUnfined and lightly filtered, the wine retains the character of the fruit and the vintage. Shiraz remains my pet-favourite varietal, and this is a lovely example of what happens when the fruit is allowed to speak for itself, with the winemaker's role being to guide rather than overwhelm it.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003ePerfect With:\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e Roast or grilled lamb, beef, Middle Eastern dishes with warm spices, or rich mushroom and lentil dishes.
